Homework-induced sketch, no references used. Yet another drawing of Charlie!
I tried to make it look like he was touched by the High Magic and experiencing an influx of power, emanating mostly from the mark on his forehead that appeared in the bestowal. A peaceful and empowering experience, much like you're being washed over and filled with light.
This symbol has been appearing everywhere for me lately, with more-or-less of the same design. From official art to homework scribbles. Words I've come to associate with it: Power, Hope, Promise, and Holy.
